I Need My Shows To Come Back

If this is what waiting feels like, then I am not a patient person at all. Certain things I can wait for but lately, I've had to watch the season final for many of my favorite shows. This past summer, I spent a good amount of time watching tv but during the school year, I have had to restrict myself since school work comes first.
My top three shows are Covert Affairs, Drop Dead Diva and Necessary Roughness.
If you remember me talking about Chase and how much I loved it, then you would understand my love for Covert Affairs. It’s about a woman named Annie Walker who goes into the CIA where she has to deal with the hassles of this sort of life. She works with Auggie, who is a blind tech operative. Every episode involves high tense drama and interesting perspective into what life with the CIA is like, even though I've heard that it’s less exciting than that.
Here's the opening credit:

Drop Dead Diva is about Jane, a lawyer who has the soul of supermodel Deb but the body of Jane because when they both died, Deb went to heaven, pushed the return button and came back into a different body. If I am not making sense, you can look up the descriptions yourself.
Here's the opening credits:

Necessary Roughness is about a psychotherapist who starts working for a football team after she divorces her husband. Not only does she have interesting patients, the football team keeps her busy and she has two teenagers who have their issues.
I love these shows because they feature a female in the lead role. I have been raised as a strong female who knows to go get what she wants. It’s awesome to see a powerful lawyer, a CIA operative, a successful businesswoman and other roles for females that speak to me on the idea that females can do anything in this world. While these shows try not to use stereotypes, sometimes they have failed. One example includes Annie who spent a couple episodes getting an asset by using her looks to charm him. Overall, these shows have a powerful message and are worth my time. It’s about darn time they came back!
When I am not watching these three shows, I am enjoying For Better or Worse and The Lying Game.
