This week came and pass. I had something exciting things happen but for the most part, it was an easy week.
I moved into the Health and Wellness dorm this week. Everyone keeps asking why I moved but what they don't realize is that I didn't come to college to step on puke on the ground, go to sleep at 3 am on the weekends because of the noises and so forth. I had no problem with the people of North Campus, I had a problem with what happened during the night life. This other dorm is the one for me. I know most of the people here and I don't need to walk 10 minutes to get anywhere, anymore. North was fun but Smith is even more fun.
I am involved with the chapel here and we went to the Chaplain's house for dinner. It was so nice to eat a homecook meal and get a free t-shirt. I am all about getting free t-shirts. You should have seen how many I had from Boise High. This group is kind of like LLAMAS except for all the crazy people and fun that we had. It was fun but a different kind of fun. I hope that all the youth at KOG are getting excited for the Youth Gathering. It's going to be so much fun.
On sunday, PRIDE, which is all about promoting respect in education, took about 70 students to 6 Flags. I had decided a long time ago that I would never go on the rides because I don't like them. Somehow though, I ended up going on some of the scariest rides. For example, there was one that pulled you up slowy and then just dropped you. Those were the longest couple of seconds of my life. If you know me, you can only imagine how much and how loud I was screaming. I just kept reminding God to save me. The rides were fun once I got off of them and realized that I had survived. While I was on them, I was praying for my life. It was fun and I am glad that I didn't wimped out but I don't think that I am going to do that anytime soon.
That's all for now. School is keeping me busy. With classes, clubs and work, I think that I don't have time to be homesick. I am looking forward to the break that we have called Trinity Days.
