Paris Walk #3

As I mentioned earlier, these are my last couple days in Paris so I have to make the most of them. The photos below come from my most recent walks around the city.

While doing research for my Urban Sociology course in Belleville in the 20th arrondissement, I discovered this art piece, paying respect to Nelson Mandela who died December 5th.

Here are some of the locks on the Pont des Arts. They don't keep them up for too long since they new ones are added every day.

A view of Paris from Buttes-Chaumont Park

Walking along Canal Saint-Martin I saw buildings that looked like they didn't belong in Paris. I almost felt like I was back in Amsterdam, walking along the canals.

Not my greatest of photos but this is the Eiffel Tower at night. The blue on the tower says Nelson Mandela 1918-2013. I believe that is going to stay up for a couple days
