Walks Around Paris #1

There’s something to be said of a city that’s walk-able. Paris is the kind of place where you can walk for miles and see something beautiful everywhere you go. This week I have been doing orientation at Paris Institute of Political Science or Sciences Po in the 7th arrondissement (Paris is divided into 20 arrondissements or administrative zones that have a shape of a snail.) A short walk away is the Seine, the river that dives the city into the right and left bank. You can walk along the Seine for many miles and see some of the buildings that Paris is known for. For this post, we’ll late the pictures speak for themselves. Come back next time to see how I discovered “Little Africa” and got so overwhelmed to be surrounded by such good food.

Not using a map, I can't always be sure of where I am going but I know that I found the Louvre.

Cathedral of Notre Dame
Beautiful buildings, boats and the Seine

They had chairs for you to seat on at this garden because you couldn't seat on the grass.

Not quite sure what building this is yet but it's on the way towards the Arc de Triomphe
